RMCAD Partners With Ave Scholarships

RMCAD is pleased to partner with ACE Scholarships, an organization that raises funds to provide scholarships to low-income children in grades K-12. Through this partnership, RMCAD will provide educational grants to students who participate in ACE programs. The top candidate will receive a full scholarship to RMCAD, the second place entrant will receive a 50% scholarship and every applicant will be offered discounted tuition at RMCAD.

“ACE Scholarships provides an incredible service to students in our community,” said RMCAD CEO Christopher Marconi. “We are honored to work with them and provide an opportunity for their creative students to receive an excellent higher education in the applied arts and design fields.”

All high school seniors participating in Colorado ACE programs are eligible to apply for the scholarships. To be considered, students must submit an essay and portfolio by February 1, 2015. A review committee will select and announce winners mid February, 2015.

Interested students and their families are invited to attend a reception at the RMCAD campus on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, 6:30-8 p.m. At this event, ACE scholars can view a presentation detailing programs and opportunities at RMCAD; meet RMCAD staff, faculty and students; and ask questions about RMCAD and the ACE Scholarship application process.

For more information about the application process, contact ACE Scholarships Program Coordinator Hadley Weiss at hweiss@acescholarships.org, or call (303) 407-0623.
