LIBERAL ARTS PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Liberal Arts at RMCAD emphasize a broad course of study in a variety of academic disciplines, while providing students with the necessary tools to develop critical thinking and communication skills for their scholarly, creative, and personal growth. The curriculum emphasizes curiosity and humility, questions over answers, and a posture of intellectual hospitality to diverse perspectives and experiences. Through an engagement with a variety of academic disciplines students begin to understand the need for nuance and context as they endeavor to become self-directed learners with an intellectual and ethical basis for self-directed learning and active global citizenship.

RMCAD offers classes year-round in both on-campus and online delivery formats. At RMCAD, we believe that online learning is an important part of the overall college learning experience. To provide students multiple scheduling options, diverse learning modalities, and experience in the virtual environment, all on-campus students are required to take part in some online education.
