Join us in Z-Space as we welcome the third FabLab x Resident Artist: Raymundo Muñoz! Ray will take center stage to discuss his unique art practice, and offer an exclusive glimpse into his creative process, and professional experience. Ray will also share details about his collaboration with Noah in RMCAD’s Z-Space (FabLab), where they worked with multiple tools for Ray’s letterpress + practice.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Raymundo Muñoz was born and raised in El Paso, TX, but Denver, CO has been his home since 1999. He is a self-taught printmaker specializing in linocut, who finds endless inspiration in the natural world and the chaos-order dynamic.
Raymundo is a current RedLine Artist-in-Residence and Denver Botanic Gardens Land Line Artist-in-Residence. He is the director/co-founder/co-curator at Alto Gallery and an active board member of Birdseed Collective.
Above all, Raymundo is guided by the principle that art is a bridge, and that its greatest function is to connect people across time and space.
