Join Clay Club for a visiting artist lecture and workshop by Desi Brown in the Neusteter Ceramics Space at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Desi Brown is currently an artist in residency at the Art Students League of Denver. Prior to the current residency she was a Limited Term Lecturer at Purdue University in their ceramics department. Her classes focused on ceramic studio art. Her artwork uses found materials and photography to document her wearable sculptural work. Desi’s artwork focuses on the interior lives and struggles of Black women who like herself that are navigating single parenthood and social classism.
