Colorado Teachers who enroll during the summer of 2014 will receive 50% off of their tuition for the duration of the Master of Arts in Education, Leadership + Emerging Technologies (ELET) program. Classes start May 5, June 2 and June 30. The program is offered entirely online and can be completed from anywhere.
Thanks to our national and regional accreditation, the MA in ELET can equip teachers for leadership positions and bring innovation into the classroom.
Coursework in the Education, Leadership and Emerging Technologies Master of Arts program covers:
Education
The ELET program has education at its core. Topics include learning theories, research and assessment, E-learning strategies and learning environments. In many programs, students just read about technologies and techniques. At RMCAD, students learn by doing and produce materials that can be used in the classroom right away.
Leadership
By integrating cutting-edge methods and technology into the curriculum, the ELET degree produces graduates who are prepared to lead at any level. Leadership topics in conflict management and change management help teachers develop practical skills that are immediately usable in the K12 environment.
Emerging Technologies
ELET students master the creation of podcasts, video, and E-books; learn web design with HTML and CSS; design in a Learning Management System; and create games that will engage students.
