RMCAD'S ACCELERATE PROGRAM - PRE-COLLEGE COURSE FOR HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS & SENIORS
Ready to experience art school a little early? Join us for an online 2D Design 8-week course for only $99!
In this beginner-level studio class, you’ll dive into the basics of creating visual art and design in two dimensions. You’ll work on both handmade projects and learn how to use vector-based software.
Throughout the course, you’ll explore how to organize visual elements and communicate ideas effectively. By the end, you’ll have a better grasp of creating and evaluating two-dimensional compositions.
In addition, by the conclusion of this college-level course, you’ll have the opportunity to submit your portfolio for assessment to potentially earn proficiency credits. If successful, you could save around $2,220* in tuition fees at RMCAD and avoid the need to repeat this course.

*$2,220 is the estimated savings based on the cost of tuition for a 3 credit course at RMCAD during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Dual Enrollment
RMCAD offers the opportunity for exceptional junior and senior high school students to enroll for college credit while still completing their high school degree. RMCAD’s Dual Enrollment credits may be used to satisfy high school subject or credit requirements, as determined by the student’s high school. Dual Enrollment students may take online courses and register for one class in an 8-week term and up to six credits per semester for a total of 12 credits in an academic year.
Financial Aid is not available and cannot be used to cover the cost of attendance, books, or supplies—although students may receive financial support from their high school.

Admissions Process
Embarking on the journey to becoming a RMCAD student is an exciting endeavor. Our admissions process is designed to get to know you, while you learn about RMCAD and what we offer.
We invite you to visit RMCAD either virtually or in-person. You’ll work closely with our faculty and even sit in on a class or two from your selected department. Learn all about RMCAD from your Admissions Counselor who will help you develop a path to get you from your first day of class to graduation and, ultimately, to a successful future in the world of art and design.
