360 Thinkers supports its members in honing their creativity and inspiring them individually, as well as a group, throughout several yearly multidisciplinary collaborations. Together, online and on-ground students, faculty, and staff of RMCAD will support members needing critique, surveys, personal or creative advice, assignment trials, etc. No matter your skill level, if you want to deepen your artistic communication channels, spice up your portfolio, and learn new skills while working with your peers, join the cohort and become a 360 Thinker! AIGA student chapter provides a strong community for design students that focuses on opportunities for students to work alongside other school departments as well as organizations outside of the College to allow students to network and utilize their design capabilities to carry forward in their future careers.

Clay Club is a place for all members of the RMCAD community to engage with each other, explore new materials, techniques, and gain new experiences regardless of their degree path. American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a leading professional association of interior designers, industry leaders, educators and students who employ design to improve lives where people live, work, play and heal. Whether we hear from professionals in the industry, discuss topics with faculty and students, or just enjoy talking about design, our events encourage students to explore design beyond what is learned in the classroom.

This group is meant for everyone, including those not in the Fashion Design degree program to be able to openly converse with others and to help creativity flourish. We want to share our enthusiasm for fashion with other students in an atmosphere that promotes positive energy and fun. Through transdisciplinary projects, we use a community-driven approach to develop social awareness and industry proficiency. Interact with one another, discuss, and participate in anything and everything that has to do with the fashion industry.

Garden Club focuses on learning as a group, garden planning, staring seeds, keeping a seasonal growing schedule, and maintaining the heath and cleanliness of the garden. The food produced is divided between gardeners and donated to local food banks. The benefits of learning gardening are lifelong, and each garden provides new growth opportunities (pun intended?) for people who are eager and willing to put in the time and effort!

Meeting Time: Weekly – Weekend Hikes

Build – Play – Relax is the League of Xtr’ord’nary Heroes’ purpose. As a co-curricular club, we engage in fantasycraft & wargames that include: archery, safe, simulated combat scenarios, handwork projects, musical revelry and tavern-like social time. Our meetings take place in an inviting space and may include a strolling bard, or two. An end-of-term feast and skills-based tournament occurs outside, with more fanfare. Bigger fabrication projects take place at Neusteter Woodshop, where our simulated prop and safety-conscious weapons construction reference both historical and fictitious sources. Our games are intended to develop confidence and self-wellness through increased activity, teamwork, and imagination. Many of our students need an outlet to alleviate burnout, sedentary habits, and excessive screen time. By offering a place to lightheartedly disengage, RMCAD students should find the L.X. Heroes Club as a positive way to improve their school life and campus culture.

Roll20 promotes creativity, teamwork, and friendships by connecting students to each other through the epic roleplaying game that is Dungeons & Dragons. From newbies to D&D veterans, we welcome players of all skill levels and across all programs of study!

The RMCAD Magic club is a place for both longtime fans of Magic: The Gathering and newcomers to come together and play the game in person. Magic: The Gathering (MTG) is a tabletop trading card game (TCG) that encourages problem-solving connections among individuals. This club is for anyone and everyone, regardless of your degree program, and new players will be taught how to play; everyone can become a WIZARD!

We exist as a collective of LGBTQIA+ and allied individuals with the common goal to form community and safe spaces throughout campus, and online. We cultivate and empower students to use their voice and art to make a difference in the community. We’ll spend time together doing things like: exploring queer literature, discussing LGBTQIA+ issues on campus, locally, and nationally, and giving back to the community on campus, and locally.
