Anna Valenti is a ceramic artist whose work centers around weaving structures and gathering spaces that cultivate belonging. Her research is in fiber clay bodies. She received her BA and ceramics post-baccalaureate studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2014 and a MFA from the Maine College of Art in 2020. Her work is featured in Financial Times, Ceramics Monthly, BOMB Magazine and Basketry+. She has exhibited her work nationally at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Maine, Bray North Gallery in Montana, The Clay Studio in Pennsylvania, Soo Visual Arts Center in Minnesota, and the Hyde Museum in New York. She is the grant recipient of the NCECA Graduate Fellowship (2019) and invited artist of the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts Outdoor Sculpture Project (2020). Anna serves as a Board Member for East Side Art Institute in Lafayette, CO.
