Tech

Stay connected. Anywhere you go.

In today’s fast-paced digital world, learning means staying connected—in the classroom, around campus, and on the go. RMCAD makes it easy to keep up with your lectures, coursework, and interactive discussions by providing a suite of high-tech offerings. You’ll enjoy free student email, cloud-based file storage, and a completely WiFi-enabled campus with wireless laser printing. RMCAD even offers 19 on-campus computer labs stocked with cutting-edge Mac and PC devices—one for every three students—ensuring you’ll always have access to the technology you need.

Advising

Academic advising is your key to success.

You have questions. Our advisors have the answers. From explaining our Foundation Studies and Liberal Arts curriculum, to walking you through specific degree programs, course scheduling, and prerequisites, your personal advisor will help you every step of the way. You’ll also benefit from round-the-clock guidance on student affairs, including school policies and regulations, course load and time management concerns, study habits, and any other questions you may have about RMCAD and your career.

Clubs + Orgs

Pursue your passions beyond the classroom.

RMCAD students are highly engaged in their craft—but being a great artist also means leading a balanced life. That’s why we offer a ton of cultural, recreational, and entertainment opportunities, on campus and beyond. Through our Student Ambassadors, we sponsor weekly events based on student suggestions, from barbecues and bowling parties to themed movie nights. We also support a variety of student clubs, funded through the Student Government Association and representing interests as varied as film, culture, dance, and athletics—even volunteer opportunities.

Housing

A place to live. Room to grow.

Live in the foothills or in the heart of downtown. At RMCAD, the choice is entirely yours. And since we don’t require students to live in a particular housing facility, you’ll have total flexibility to design your own lifestyle and commute. Our proximity to downtown Denver means you can find inspiration in the Rocky Mountains by day, and take in the city sights by night—all while living just minutes from campus. For more info on nearby apartments, dorm-like housing options, or to explore the neighborhoods that fellow students are living in, download our Housing Booklet today. Transportation

Easy come. Easy go.

As the country’s 8th largest state by land area, Colorado offers tons of places to explore. And while cars aren’t required as a student, having access to one can open doors to an array of recreational and cultural diversions in the Denver metro area and beyond. Even better, on-campus parking is ample—and free. Still, for non-drivers, the area boasts a variety of other accessible and affordable transportation options through RTD, including local and regional bus lines, park-and-ride shuttle service to the Denver airport, and a light rail that operates throughout the city.

Counseling

The support you need. People you trust.

Whether you’re entering RMCAD right out of high school, or you’re a transfer student with a few collegiate experiences under your belt, transitioning to college life can be difficult. That’s why RMCAD offers counseling services to all of our students, whenever and wherever they may need it. Our licensed professionals are equipped to give one-on-one counseling and support concerning a wide range of topics, from anxiety and depression to substance abuse and grief. And as always, this student support is personalized, confidential, and free of charge.
