Welcome to RMCAD! We are so excited that you will be joining our community. During your time with us, you will meet incredible people, discover things you never knew about yourself, and develop your innermost talents as an artist and designer. To kickstart this journey, we invite you to join us for our orientation weekend.
The orientation program at RMCAD is designed to welcome on-campus and online students and their support networks and provide them with essential information that will make their time at RMCAD successful. Our two-day program begins with a formal convocation and welcome to campus, and transitions into informational sessions and meet-and-greets with faculty members. There will be specific sessions for parents, families and supporters, as well as sessions for students only. The day will culminate in an on-campus dinner that will provide you with the opportunity to get to know some of your new classmates!
The second day of orientation is completely optional and for students only. Part of being a RMCAD student is sharing your talents and passion with the community around you. It is for this reason that on Saturday morning, we will be engaging in various community service projects in the Denver Metro Area. After your service project, you will return to campus for lunch and FunFest. FunFest is simply a time to hang out with fellow students and the Student Ambassadors, create, eat and just have a good time.
Although orientation is not mandatory, we believe that it is in your best interest to attend as you will gain valuable knowledge that will come in handy during your time at RMCAD. We look forward to seeing you!
